Satellite Tracker & Pass Predictor

When will the ISS, weather satellites or amateur radio satellites pass over you, and on which frequencies can you hear them?

Reading a pass

Rise and set are when the satellite crosses your minimum elevation; peak is its highest point. Passes above 30ยฐ are the easiest to receive, because the signal travels through less atmosphere and fewer obstacles.

Can I see it?

"Visible to the eye" means the satellite is in sunlight while your sky is dark, the classic ISS sighting right after dusk or before dawn. "Sunlit (daytime)" passes can still be received by radio.

Doppler shift

Satellites move fast, so their signal arrives higher in frequency as they approach and lower as they leave. For narrow FM voice, tune a few kHz high at the start of a pass and step down as it passes.
